Before the meeting
- [ ] ๐๏ธ Scheduling. Schedule 1:1 meetings in advance. If your schedule allows it, aim for 30 minutes a week. If that is not realistic, a longer monthly session (45-60 minutes) could also work.
- [ ] ๐ Consistency. Keep it consistent. This will help your teams get into the habit of conducting these sessions, increasing engagement and efficiency.
- [ ] ๐ Agenda. Consider covering current projects, potential roadblocks, a personal check-in, and long-term career goals. Send the agenda as soon as possible, at least 2 days before the meeting.
